*Gold filled wire is more expensive because it has a thick layer of Gold surrounding the core. It's nothing like the cheaper plated version that doesn't last.

They will last forever if taken care of, which is why I include a free polishing cloth with every order. Quality is very important to me!
 
~My silver pieces are all made with solid 925 Sterling Silver wire from Rio Grande. 
 
~Copper and Silver jewelry will oxidize (darken) over time, but can easily be made bright, shiny, and beautiful again by gently rubbing with the polishing cloth provided.
